Do barebone means they come with the pins attacked to the end of the wires, or not even that?

I don't have any issue finding the connectors, but the pins are not as easy to find, and I can live without the RPM sensor even tho I prefer having it.

I myself don't have the skill to wire the pins (connectors are easy to connect tho).

Barebones = bare wires and no tach wire, only power.

Someone said the supplier is using this as their "handling" fee, and frankly, that's a good business practice. Us in the states prefer convenience over frugality.

Is there any possibility of TankGuys taking the initiative and adding the coupler, and changing the fan price (abitrary) to say 10.00???

Either way, I'm voting for barebones, as I'm sure finding the connector isn't that big of a deal.
Heres the part numbers for the housing and pins, Molex P/N housing is 22-01-3037 and the terminal is 08-50-0113 and heres a link to buy them. pins and housing

the pins are actually pretty easy, all you need to do is put the end of the wire in and crimp it with a pair of pliers. i also posted a link to the housing and pins in the above post.

Also, here's the link to Mouser:

Mouser

They have the headers around there somewhere. Don't know what shipping would be like, but they are cheap and plentiful.

Well, it does say:

423,720 Can Ship Immediately

So, I'd assume that means lead time for custom orders... Dunno, though. I'd probably just go with the company you linked.

Barebones sounds good and $5 to put on a connector is almost half the cost of the fan so expensive.
As long as people are willing to instruct me how to do it, I'm willing to get Barebones. Also means I can order more.

I initially said that I wanted $50 worth of the fans, which equated to 4 when the asking price was still $12-$13. If the price for Barebones fans is only $8, I'll have to bump up my order to 6.

Anyways, I vote for Barebones too.

Still, if there are a significant amount of people who want it pre-pinned, I think we should keep all of the orders pre-pinned, even if it costs over Barebones are large.

Fact is that ordering two sets of fans would cost more than either a single order of Barebones or pre-pinned fans and it wouldn't be right to disregard the opinions of many of the people who ordered, especially when it was initially agreed to go for pre-pinned fans.
