Problem with PSU or motherboard?
You are joking right?
Sometimes fans fail, or come bad from the start, or you realized too late that your controller goes bad and doesn't keep the fans at required speed.
You can't get that with a multimeter.
Also some people have a closed case.
You expect them to open the case, disconnect the fans and start testing them with a multimeter, which only tells the volts the fan gets, but not the speed?
Having a RPM sensor is a fine request, same with people wanting PWM or barebone.
Some people even don't like to get the fans and start connecting the pins, connectors, solder a RPM sensor. They just want a plug and play fan.
I hadn't decided whether to withdraw or not. Depends on how it goes.
Just saying, that even if 50% will accept buying the barebones, it doesn't mean that you will have over 720 fans to order. You might realized you have 600.
And as we know some people eventually don't pay, in the middle of offering changing it to barebone might give you a risk of eventually making it 10$ a fan or more, depends on how low the order falls.
