sandy bridge - different temps between cores

Thread Starter
just wondering how much difference there is between your cores?

mine are ranging about 29-36 idle
and around 43-47 after a few mins of Prime small FFT's

so highest core to lowest core is around 6-7 degrees different. with a ambient temp of around 22

Yup, pretty much normal

Mine can sit at 26ºC on the first core while the others will be close or over 30ºC.

You're good, don't worry.

yeah im not concerned my Q9550 was about the same but at least there are no stuck sensors on this chip. My Q9550 on cores 2 and 3 would never go below 37 but on load everything evened out.

All of mine are within 3*C. I wouldn't worry about it.
