Celeron D 2.53GHz CPU Keyring (!56k)

Thread Starter
I have a habit of leaving my USB sticks in computers at the library, so I wanted keyring to keep them all together and easy to keep track of. What better keyring to have than a processor?

I've always wanted one and I managed to pick one up on eBay really cheap (75p plus shipping) (PM me if you want a link, the seller has loads more (UK)).

I'm just waiting for some lariats to arrive, then I'll be putting my USB's on it. It's also flexible enough to use swivel lobster clasps to make it a CPU necklace

Also, if anyone has any dead Intel Extreme processors, PM me. I want it

Pictures (click for massive versions):

Starter chip

Pin side
Next time, remind me to get 775 or newer

Halfway through depinning

Almost there

Defenceless
Your majesty, I bear bad news.

Blurry
Clamped in below the drill press. Sorry it's so blurry.

Wounded

Fatality

Hope you like it

Maybe if we have enough people doing this, we could start a CPU keychain club

I'd do it with just the lid they are easy to cut off only a few are soldered to the core.

Lol, if it was a spare, I might have. But I bought it specifically to make the keyring out of it.
