Cable Management Important?

Thread Starter
So I tried tidying up my cables and it failed uterly. I have to say it is the case, I mean there is barely any room between the detachable side panal and the frame where my cables are so basically I can't put anything there. So I have a couple of questions really.

Right now the case is a mess, so is there a big increase in anything beneficial (like temps) or is it minimal?

If above is yes, management brings great results than I am looking at the Corsair 600t. Linus Sebastian did a great job in his cable management guide and he was using that case so I am looking into the same one. Is this a good case?

And that is pretty much it!

It's basically all aesthetics. I wouldn't worry about it unless it's exceptionally horrible.

Cable management is important. The clearer the pathway for the air to flow, the better your temps.

It made a big difference back in the days of ribbon cables, but it isn't as important now. With that said, there's no reason not to at least try for good cable routing. It does still help airflow to a certain extent, it makes the build look more polished and professional, and it makes repairs easier.

Also better cable management also could aid in clearing out dust and or dust getting trapped inside the nooks and crannies of the exposed cable spaghetti.

Do not listen to this.
Yes, it can help your temps but only up to a certain point when you don't have obvious balls of wires blocking the airflow. After that point is reached you are only making your case look "cleaner" which has no impact on temps and is exactly what he said, for aesthetics.

Well how is the 600t in general?

Also no thank you, I just got a semi modular Corsair HX1000W and I am loving it, all the cables hardwired I use and I barely use any of the Modular cables...

For management and airflow? the 600T is a great case.

Also, just a side note, but for your setup a 1000W is a bit overkill.
