Turtle Beach X41 cutting out

Thread Starter
My X41s have been fantastic right up until tonight. My audio is cutting in and out. If has been intermittent the entire time I have owned my headphones, but not I'm hearing nothing but static. I can hear the Live party chat just fine, which I find weird, but I can't hear the game audio. It sounds like there's interference, but I can't imagine what it's from. The base station has been sitting next to the router the whole time and only started fouling up tonight. Anyone have any insight on this?

It's probably the router interfering with it. Try restarting your router and then re-pairing your headset to the transmitter. And you may want to move the transmitter away from other wifi sources. There are instructions in the manual and on their site too that cover the pairing process, but it's easy.

I had the same issue with mine, popping and stuff, and when I contacted them, this is what they had me do and it fixed my problem right away. If you need to, their email is support@turtlebeach.com.

Hope that helps!

I have a similar problem with my X41 headset. I go into my TV menu and select the option for enable/disable TV speaker, I flip it off and back on again and that fixes my problem every time, worth a shot I guess.
