I just got a Naos3200 and when lifting off on my Steelseries SX, the cursor will go nuts and start drifting off in random directions. I can have the mouse a foot or higher above the pad in the air, not even facing anything, and the cursor will still be moving. This happens only when using 1600 or 3200 dpi, it does not happen when using 800. I've tried this on other surfaces and it does the same thing. I dusted off my msie3.0, and like I remember from when I used it back in the day, it did not have this issue. However, I believe it's even less than 800dpi, so I guess it doesn't even matter. Do opticals have lift off issues like this at higher dpi, or does it sound like I have a defective sensor?
