Recover Files from Unreadable External HD?

So I have this iomega portable hard drive that I wanted to use today. I was gonna copy some stuff into it. I plugged it in, opened it, everything was good. Then I started checking through some folders just looking for stuff to get rid of. Then I tried to open this one folder and explorer crashed. Now when I try to open it Windows asks me to format it because it's corrupt or unreadable.

Now, I used some software to scan and it pretty much found every file, except I had to pay for it to actually recover the files, so I know the files are all there. It's about 180Gb, not really worth that much but I would rather not have through the hassle of downloading it all again. I could just format it and be done with it but if there's any software that can just recover the files or copy them it would just make things a lot easier.

As always, help is very appreciated and if there's anything else I should point out, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

i hope you paid for it all biggrin.gif

but seriously, your program should copy the files automatically? if not, try plugging it into another pc.

Already uninstalled it. Tried plugging into another pc but it showed the same message. Recuva finds all the images and songs but I need something that can recover it all.

Edit- Hell, something that just uncorrupts the drive if there's such a thing will do.
