I run Prime 95 Small FFTs and LinX with 70% of my ram at the same time and i'm running strong.
It's not so much stability I'm worried about as the integrity of the chip in the long-term (up to 2 years at least). I heard someone mention something about a lower PLL allowing something more to pass through, I have no idea what that was about... maybe it was just completely false.

Thanks for the help by the way. Tomorrow I may try to run through slightly better overclocks with a lower PLL. I was trying before and all it did was lower my temps unfortunately... but maybe I'll try a 1.72 PLL and see how that goes.

Currently I have no use for 24/7 OC's... all my games run 70+ FPS minimum at 3.4GHz with turbo turned off lol.

lol then do a simple/moderate oc @ like 4ghz or something.

there's no need to go overboard, especially if you want the chip to last.

anyways, you'll do fine

Im at 1.70, but i can't really notice any drops in temps. 28c Idle and 50c load on the hottest cores.

It stays the same when PLL is at 1.80. Maybe a 1c difference, but nothing i can really notice.

yeah, that's what im saying. not that much of an improvement, but i'd take 1c over nothing
