What kind of performance would I get out of two 5830's in crossfire

Thread Starter
I'm looking into getting a M4A79T Deluxe motherboard and it has dual 16x pci-e slots. I have one 5830 already and love it but being able to crossfire I'm wondering how two would perform in dual 16x slots. It wouldn't be double would it? would it do better then a 5870?

If the game is optimized for crossfire, you should see ~ 60 - 80% increase in frames. They would beat out a 5870 in most cases (unless the game doesn't support crossfire). With some overclocking, they would make for a pretty good combination.
