Yo! if all the sound is coming from your pc you can download a program called audacity and set it up to record everything coming straight from your soundcard(stereo mix), but if you're using a mic aswel that might not work

http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

He's talking about online broadcasting, not recording. To my knowledge, you cannot stream using Audacity.

Do you have both an onboard soundcard and an internal one (i.e. an X-Fi)?

If so, you can set it up in the VirtualDJ options to have it use one of the outputs for your music (from the mixer) and the other card for a microphone input.

You may actually be able to use one card to have a microphone input. If you can do this, it will be from the Virtual DJ options (I am not sure as I don't have my own PC currently).

If it is not available to do from the options, it is not possible. When opening Virtual DJ, it takes primary focus of the inputs and outputs from your computer. The only way to have both VirtualDJ and your microphone streaming would be to use an external application to broadcast a "What You Hear" sort of thing. Maybe it would incorporate microphone inputs too.

What version of virtual dj are you using?

Ok so you have unblocked the ports on your firewall normally port 8000.
Did you choose shoutcast and set the bit rate? Start with 96 if it lags lower it.
Have you set your speaker config in the settings speaker correctly?
Top right hand corner there's sliders for mic and volume. In settings have you set the songs to match each other automatically?

Then make sure you have set it on Talk Over NOT Hardware Mix. With Talk Over you can't record and with hardware Mix your sound is going to come out like you are experiencing now
