Help with a studio lighting setup? - Page 2

I bought this kit a while back: http://alienbees.com/digi.html

It's well worth the money for a small studio setup. You just need PC-sync cables (it also does wireless) If your d90 has no PC-Sync socket, just get a hot-shoe to pc-sync like the Nikon AS-15.

Been using alien bees for years now, great company, great customer support, used to have an awesome forum as well (it got canned a year or two ago sadly)

But yes two B400's would work well for a little home studio, soft boxes are always nice but pricey, umbrellas would do the trick just fine. Ive got their wireless triggers as well, for the money they are alright, never had any issues with them. Id suggest picking up some sheets of white foam board for reflectors, cheap way to get some decent fill light.

If you have any questions Im more than happy to help!
