@jaes84,

If it were me, I would do a fresh install of Windows, and then install those extra applications one at a time to see which is causing the 'slowdown'.

You're options sound like:
You're hacked, infested (which if it's a good enough virus/malware won't show up if its active), got a bad windows install, or something is wrong with the RAM or other hardware.

I'd narrow it down to a reinstall or start checking the hardware. But I'm curious if you have/are OCing?

Nah i havent OC'd(yet) I am waiting on a H70

Like I sayed try a spare hdd and see if that helps before reinstalling window on your primary hdd

Allright, I ran a memory scan. I went to watch tv and let it finish, however when i came back it was running startup repair and it wouldnt tell me what the issue was. how do i figure out what it is

Allright, I disabled loads of apple services, optimized the services, cleaned the registry and scanned the disk for junk, I also cleared some of the startup programs and reduced the number down to 9 in msconfig. Is that still too much?

I think i solved it. The problem was still firefox. I got the Bar Tab addon for it and so far i haven't had any crashes

If you ran Memtest86 and it crashed then something is wrong with your RAM and you need to test each stick or RMA the whole set. What memory scan were you running?
