Does that price contain the 480 kit?

Hi all,

Looks like it was good to wait and hold off a bit, AC released a rev 2 of AXP; Accelero XTREME Plus II.

Anyone have this one yet? How does it fare against the old one?

Also, some sites say it has 250W of cooling, yet on AC's site, it says 300W, which is correct?

i would be more tenant to be-leave the 300w...

due to the OC i have on my 480s with the temps

the AXP 2 has better VRM coolers..

good for cards like the 570

How far did you get your 480?

I'm wondering if a backplate is worth it..

Got it up to 900Mhz Core on both cards but i run 800Mhz core 24/7..

Temps are always below 75Deg C

Nice and quiet as well

The backplate made it 3 Deg C Cooler but the cards are more regard

i have one... they are great...

and heat doesn't seem to bother it....

concidering in my system it is about 2x480s with AXP coolers with modded EVGA backplates

I find that they run about 25 Deg C over room temps...

with my 24/7 OC of 800/1600/2200....

have fun....
Are they any quieter than the stock cooling?

i don't even hear them on...

that said i can't hear my whole computer...

big fans = slower RPM = Quieter

100% fan on a AXP is about 30% fan on the stock 480 cooler

They're also a bit quieter than the VF3000F fans.
And you've gotten 900MHz on your core speeds, I maxed at 882.
Hmm, if I juiced up the voltage a bit more...........
