The first one, although it makes a negligible difference after the loop stabilizes temp.

Whichever way looks better in your case, because it doesn't really affect temps. As long as the pump is after the res you're good.

I believe the difference works out to be on average 0.5-1.0 degree C between the two. Go with what makes the best physical sense setup-wise for your case.

I use 2.

1.) of course!! will give 1 to 2 degrees better temps in comparison to the second one.
If you want a detailed explanation why just read the thread where "choise" written like that^^

I like #2.Thats how my setup is.But hey I'm still a Noob at watercooling.Pretty much use the way that will give the least amount of tubing/less non straight barbs.Either way you will be OK.
