If I can output it on my tv and most games look at least as good as infinity blade on 720p youtube vids (but with obviously more gameplay depth).. I am completely sold. Oh wait.. I mean the titles are a big factor too LOL.

Pretty different architecture right? IIRC the PSP can only output 1/3 polygons that of the PS2.. but the PSP resolution is only 480x270 vs the PS2's 640x480.

Ugly textures are apparent with the PSP1 games if you plan to nitpick and compare to PS2 games but because of the smaller screen it still looks almost like the PS2 counterpart. (Armored Core the Last Raven and Kingdom Hearts for example).

PSP1 games look more ugly compared to the PS2 if you put them both on a tv screen.

Not saying that it really matters though. The PSP1 still had an awesome output power during it's earlier days for a dedicated handheld device.

It's very easy to believe that the PSP2 will have a PS3 graphical effect/experience for most of us consumers like how the late PSP1 games look very similar to PS2 games because of the lower resolution.

With hopefully but probable 2 nubs, L2 and R2 buttons, some focus on online MP.. It could probably be called more appropriately as the Playstation 3 Portable xD

Correct.. the psp can only execute one calculation with its cpu at the same time where as the ps2 can do 3 at a time..
The ps2 is obviously better..
just saying though, the specs are pretty close.. but the architecture is different.

Lol he isn't trolling... their is no way that the PSP2 will be able to do Heavy Rain at 720p. If the PSP2 is as powerful as the PS3 it would be capable of doing that.

Yep, but similar to your earlier point, with the late PSP1 games, it really does give a solid illusion of a real "PS2 graphics in your hands".

If my PS3 overheats (which it has) than I doubt that can make a handheld as powerful as the ps3 that won't overheat in a few instances.

All I'm saying is I had a ps2, and bought a psp at launch... I remember it didn't look as good.

The ps3 is still relatively new hardware, the gpu is on par with an 8800gts or 7950gt, there's no way they can cram one of those in a handheld...
