HAF 932 Filter

Thread Starter
Hi all,

I'm going to be buying a HAF 932 black and I want a filter to keep out dust. I know there is a $60 that has four pieces but I only want the front piece and maybe the bottom.

If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Use panty hose. ( im completely serious )

Stretch the material over the fan fram. secure it with rubber band's and cut off the excess material.

you can use panty hose as a dust filter for all fan's assuming it fit's over it. and jsut secure with a rubber band. so it's easy to clean and put on and off.

i use this on some of my fan's. get a transparent material so it wont be visable as much

this is truely cheap dust filter method. but it works well, and i do it myself.

Is it weird to buy pantyhose or spend $40 more for something that does the same job? =] No one will know once you cut em up

Where would be the best place to buy them
post #7 of 25
Know a girl? - Steal from her or awkwardly ask her to purchase them for you.

If she seem's skeptical tell her it's for your computer. if she ask's.. walk away and hope she is totally madly in love with you for being a pc man!.

As long as you're comfortable with your sexuality, it doesn't matter what you buy.
You realise this as you get older, and have to buy all kinda things, go shopping in places you don't wanna go, and sometimes do.

For all the person behind the till knows, they could be for your girlfriend, your mother, the stripper you're getting with your pocket money on friday night, a makeshift mask for when you're stalking someone, anything.

I got a pair off my missus for my side panel dust filter recently, 5 years ago I picked up a pair that I intended to wear 'cos it was my best mate's 22nd Birthday and we used to do dress-ups for everyone's Birthday's, "Women" just happened to come outta the hat, was a right laugh though.
I have more respect for women that wear skirts in the winter now too.

Just make sure you get a plain pair, blackish look by far better than those pale skin colour ones on fans and legs, don't get patterned unless you want them to be worn. Medium thickness should be fine.
