I had 2 xbox 360's that died on me with the red ring of death. My nephew's is giving him the red ring of death again(he had it repaird last yr in 2010!) and he had one of the new models from 2009 and his warranty is already up so he can't get it repaired again. Microfraud should be real ashamed not fixing what was wrong with the 2006 xbox360s.

Because the two 360's I owned were from 2006, and 3 years later they still didn't solve the problem with red ring of death! I've had my ps3 for 2 years and not one single problem with it. Pc and Ps3 are best!

They've fixed the RROD problem on all new Xboxes. They consolidated the CPU and GPU onto one die, and then increased the size of the fan.

How new is that 2011 new? 4 or 5 years later? Nice going Microfraud!

And I bought my ps3 either for 300 or 400 bucks refurbished. I forget the price, I think I got a deal on it an 80gb ps3 for 300 bucks I believe like 2 years ago. Someone told me refurbished play station 3's sometimes work better than new ones. I hope that person wasn't lying to me or misinformed I must say. So far no problems!

I've never had an issue with that before. I keep a backup of my steamapps folder.

Well, statistically, anything Refurbished has a slightly higher chance of being better than newer ones, plus they're cheaper.

What's the probability that a problem happens to a device two times within it's lifetime? It's more likely for a brand new device that's never been tested to have a problem than one that's already had one, had it fixed, then tested to make sure it works again.
