Are your intentions to have 3 independent screens with no mirroring?

IIRC when I was looking into hooking up 3 screens to my 5850 which has 2 dvi, 1 hdmi, and 1 (DP) ports I found that if you used the 2 dvi and 1 hdmi ports for 3 screens you can only get 2 independent screens, with the third one being mirrored.

So as far as Im aware with the ati cards at least you need to have at least one of the monitors using the DP port with your choice of dvi or hdmi for the others.
