Remember MoH and BFBC2 say they're in DX11 but hardly have any DX11 features.
I mean, not even post processing in them.

Even DX9 can do that.

Not even, GTX 260=HD 4870.

2ghz quad? 4850? I see everyone upgrading and buying sandybridge 3.3ghz quads and GTX570's, it always surprises me when I see recommended system requirements that point to a 2 year old computer (gaming) comp.

It's wider spread. I'm sure there are a few hundred thousand out there with the 4850 at least.

All "system requirements" news threads should include a big disclaimer reminding everyone that system requirements, more often that not, mean nothing/very little.

I know their last game "Frontlines" was better than Bad Company.... but a lot of people didn't gave it chance.
I was part of the Beta testing for THQ's other title Front lines Fuel Of War. I remember how they totally screwed the pooch with that game...They would kick or ban you from their forums for giving constructive criticism about the multiplayer problems, if anyone bought that game then they know what I'm talking about, within 6 months are less they totally lost their community. The actual game graphics were the best ever and man I miss that Fuel Bomb!!!...but I need some more trust before I shell out $$$ under the THQ label. Strange how they are calling for a March release and I cannot find one Video other than a few still screenies. JMO

Yeah, I remember there were a lot of patches for the game at first and not enough servers which hurt it at launch.. many people gave up on it.

It still seems no one has seen this running on the PC all the videos I see are running on the 360... I'll wait till it launches to see if it is worth the cheese.

I, for one, don't want to spend money every year on hardware because games which feature engines that could originally run on Semprons, but due to horrible porting, require a $300 CPU/GPU now.

BTW, there are like 4 games that are decent ports; the rest are buggy, CPU hogging piles of ****e.

TBH, the game doesn't look that great to me, especially considering those requirements. In fact, judging from the screenshots, Batman: Arkham Asylum looks loads better and will probably run better as well. Gameplay looks cool, though.
+Rep.

For someone from Djibouti, or living in Djibouti, you'd have thought he'd know better than to post the lies and propaganda we're fed by the corporations. Anyway, let's accept his 1/10 piracy nonsense for a moment, because I'm sure the piracy rate on the XBox puts the PC to shame but I don't see him criticising that.

As for the game: we'll see how it performs and plays but I am a realist and [ported] games no longer get me excited. After all the disappointments we've had the past few years ports no longer get me running to the store. If, however, this turns out not to be yet another GTA IV I will be glad hardware is finally being pushed by a game other than Crysis and Metro.

There is no reason what so ever for any game using Unreal to require specs such as this for a PC, in the absence of very very poor coding for the PC.
