Frankly you might want to come back in a couple months, pretty much every major player is releasing new products in the very near future. It will likely shake up the market to some degree if not completely, and obsolete most if not all of a list made right now.

I'm not sure anything below 16gb is worth mentioning, an 8gb drive would be too small for windows to be the boot drive, even 16gb might be on the edge.

Anything above 256gb is mostly OCZ with a little kingston, pretty costly after 256gb though.

Funnily enough, I actually wrote such a SSD buying guide to do just that.
Would you be able to take a look and give me some feedback? I'm especially looking for feedback on which bits should be simplified or clarified so that I can make it easier to understand.
If you think it is good enough I will happily convert it to BBCode and make a thread for it
- and I will be happy to take on board any suggestions you all have. Any!

As previously mentioned, OCZ Vertex 2 (Sata 3g), Crucial C300 (Sata 6g). List complete. To be honest, I'd wait on buying one right now though, until the next wave of SSD's come out. Any list now will be invalid at that point anyway.

Well my point was a list needed to be made, if new drives are coming out the list can wait until then though I do like the list in the guide mentioned even if it's mixed in with a large guide.
