That seems to work. It just really sucks that for SODIMMs there's really nothing you can choose other than generic speed/timing memory unless you want to pay a price premium
But since you will be getting generics, you should be getting the absolute cheapest ones possible because nothing makes a difference with generics, not even brand, unless you intend to overclock them which means you probably won't get that far anyway.
