So I've been noticing since I got my SSD that the effectiveness has dropped extremely. Ran Crystal Disk Mark results are as follows:

Is it messed up?

Yep..that's really bad. Need to know what SSD? What controller and driver?

How long have you had it, and how hard have you ran it? I.E.... benchmarks EVERY day, ect...

This is the SSD (Kingston SSDNow V+ Series SNVP325-S2/64GB 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD))

It's only about 6 months old, and that is only the second benchmark I have ran on it. When I bought it, it had really good reviews. I've just been noticing my boot times get slower and slower.. Sucks..

Don't know where to find the controller?

I know this is a stupid question but, are you using TRIM?

wow am I a dummy. So I read some tuts here on OCN that described what TRIM was and how to enable it and AHPC 1.0 in the bios. After I did that I re-ran my W.E.I. and it went up a full point! From 5.9 to 6.9. This should have been enabled by default =/ Anywho, I re-ran the CrystalDiskMark bench and scores are as follows:

Any other way to get more performance out of it? Maybe a re-install of the OS? Seeing how Kingston advertises this drive writing at 180MB/s.

Well.. it's a feature on Windows 7 that helps your SSD maintain its quality and make it run as if it's always brand new

do this.

Cause without TRIM, your ssd loses performance very very quickly
