Appraisal: HP Envy 15, Needs Love

Thread Starter
Picked up an HP Envy 15 with an i7 for mobility and power on the go, only to have a few issues pop up with it.

HP Envy 15
1920x1080 screen
i7 Q720
6 GB memory
500GB 7200rpm hdd
4830 Mobility

Underlying issues: I cannot get the right side of the keyboard, touchpad, or microphone to work and there is slight structural damage to the back left corner of the base of the unit. I have a new LCD lid standing by so the chipped part of the lid will be fixed. The bottom part is still dented/scratched as seen in the photos though (grey part on bottom). Other than that it is a beast, but for someone that does not want to leave this hooked up to a monitor, mouse, and keyboard all the time, I need to swap it out for something different.

you can probably get around 700 for it. The envy 15 is extremely hard to sell. I plan to sell mine for a while now but I don't think I am willing to take the huge loss

I would lean more towards $650-680 shipped.

Envy are really hard to sell. I would say 600-650 shipped to start with.
