That's awesome man, I've already placed my order and now I'm just waiting on that MB to arrive. I placed my order through EXcaliberPC.com since they let me preorder whereas Newegg does not. I didn't even think to check Tiger. Throw up some pictures of your build as you get it going. I'd love to check it out.

I Finally got my MOBO yesterday!!!! Tigerdirect showed them as in stock with a est shipping date of 3-5 days when I ordered it. Then it changed to 7-10. I called them and they said it was actually on back order. I couldn't find it anywhere else (in stock) - so I waited.

Anyway they now show in-stock and available to ship now. So it looks like it is finally on hand on their site. Anyway I am putting my new system together today after work. I can't wait!!!

So I got it all put together and running last night. WOW this thing is FAST!!! I am running Windows 7 Ultimate and from boot up to login screen it is just a hair under 20 seconds! My windows user experience score (remember the scale is 1.0 - 7.9) is currently 7.6!!!!!!!! And all that is without any overclocking (yet). I think that solid state hard drive makes a significant difference.

But everything launches instantly: Word, IE, Itunes, even my Sony Vegas 10. I have not tried any video encoding yet, but plan on doing so this weekend. I will report back next week after I have had a chance to play around and really get to know the system and overclock it.

That's outstanding. I've finally gotten mine put together which is why it took me so long to get back on OCN. Pretty impeccable. I do envy your SSD. I went ahead and picked up the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme B3 instead of the ASUS P8P67 Deluxe just because of availability. It takes a little while to boot up because it has to load both the Intel & Marvell RAID drivers, but once it's up, there doesn't seem to be anything stopping it. Encoding is almost ridiculous. Converting 1920x1080i AVCHD to AVI-DIVX takes less than 1/8th the time it did previously. Same here, I haven't OC'd yet. Just trying to enjoy the system for now. I'll try and upload pics when I get a chance.
