P67A-UD3 Owners: Have you experienced overclocking issues, specifically with vdroop?

I have to apologize for starting so many new threads, but I really do need help with this board...

Anyways, I picked up a UD3+2500k off Microcenter last week and it has been a huge pain in the ass overclocking. I spent hours trying setting after setting with little luck in getting a fully stable 4.5ghz near 1.35volts. Today, I finally have set it at 1.4v in hopes of a fully stable setting(currently running prime95). After examining my voltage in HardwareMonitor, I realized that my cpu voltage drops from 1.39 all the way down to 1.33 (setting at 1.37 led to drops down to nearly 1.31), which has led me to conclude that it may be the vdroop that is causing my bsod's at lower voltages.

So I'm here to ask...
  1. What voltages/clocks are you guys running at?
  2. Is this likely a physical defect (needing a new revision) or a bios defect (needing to flash)
  3. Assuming this problem is never fixed, is it okay to run at 1.4v? Temps are below 65c after running prime95 a while.

I know there probably aren't many ud3 owners out there, but it seems as if it is a prevalent problem through my various searches throughout other forum sites.

Mine is running flawlessly, albeit after much learning about what the board likes. I run at 5ghz at 1.4v 24/7. I do not use turbo, I do use internal pll overvoltage, and I use normal voltage and add the offset I want as that seems to be the most stable. My vdroop with llc on is only about .01v

Can you give me a few screenshots of your current settings?

No, but I can tell you anything you want to know about my settings. I change the multiplier to 50x, turn on internal pll overvoltage, turn off real time changes in os, turn off all power saving features except for the prochot option. Set my memory multiplier to 1600. Set my memory timings and voltage. Set my voltage to 1.4v in bios ( yours will no doubt need more, I got a gem chip ) set cpu pll voltage to 1.7v, vtt to 1.1v, set llc to enabled, and other than that....... pretty much auto.

ALSO, update to bios f6b on forums.tweaktown.com. That's a BIG one. Download it and use @bios.

I'm currently on f6c...
I will give those settings a shot with a 47x multiplier and see how it goes...

Edit: Nope. Still drops to 1.33V =\

Also, I noticed you have a UD3P, which seems to not have this problem... I'm currently stress testing it to see if these settings hold up at 4.7ghz, however...

Edit2: Nope. Not stable.

maybe...

Can you check how low the cpu dips on load, though? That would help me a lot more, as I am looking into possible issues with vdroop... (I use hwmonitor under cpu, not under vcore)

ALSO... UD3 doesn't equal the UD3P =( This problem seems to be mainly centered around the ud3

After doing some more testing, it looks as if I can get a stable overclock at 1.4volts, as it drops down to a 1.33v, which I guess will have to suffice for now... hope llc gets fixed... enabling has almost no effect on vdroop =(
