The difference can be because of different WUs

Don't fret about it.

So are there any retailers selling PCI-e x16 ribbons? My Google FU is weak, and only finds oems and sometimes distributors. eBay has some, thats about all I've found. Anyone have a solid source?

Congrats on the massive point producing machine you are about to have!

I really wish I would have gotten nvidia cards instead of these 6870s I have. I was unaware of folding when I put my rig together...

Now I just need to OC the cards. Probably let it finish a few more WUs first.

VERY NICE!!!!

Also, I'd like to add my into this discussion

Up until about 3-4 weeks ago, the 450GTS was your killer card, however, when the 560 GTX was released, the 460 GTX prices dropped like stones, and have now become the true "go to" card, though that's not really my opinion. From a budget standpoint (cost, power usage, etc), IMHO, the 450GTS would still make the better "farm" card.
