Experiences with Newegg Open Box Monitor? - Page 2

I can't speak for their monitors, but I've bought a few motherboards and GPU's open box, including my new MSI xpower, and they have all been perfect.

I actually bought mine from newegg open box (VE278Q). I have been very happy with it, no stuck pixels or anything (and honestly this was my biggest fear). Still had all accessories and even the plastic protective covering still on it, but the box had obviously been opened before.

Yeah, I think I'm going to go for it. If something is wrong I'll return it no big deal. If not I'll still get the ASUS 3 year warranty. Thanks everyone!

Stay away open box from newegg. It's not worth it.

I'm glad i did NOT take that advice.. I have just took the gamble and bought a Newegg open box item and it turned out AMAZING! I bought the JVC 32" 1080p 120 Hz LCD TV. Model is LT-32P510 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16889210078 for the LOW LOW price of Newegg Open Box for $249. (Better than black friday, as it's 1080p n not 720)

This has full 1920x1080p resolution, a high 120 Hz refresh rate rather than 60.. These specs for a LCD TV make them all over $450. most over $500. you can get cheap 720p 32's for less. that is all. Newegg shipped in original packaging. Nothing was even opened. I got extremely lucky. Works great. No issues I've found. The stand was never installed. still had plastic on it and screws in sealed bag. The remote wasn't opened and was also in a sealed bag with batteries. The manual bag had been opened and that is all.. Basically it was brand new. Still had plastic around the base and entire screen. I'm not sure they even used it. I got a screaming deal from Newegg Open box. Turned out perfect. I'm loving it. It's a Gamble I guess!
