Pricing doesn't seem accurate between the two builds. The second one has better parts through and through (though I don't like the GTX 460).

It's sort of a redundant question. They're the same things, except the second one has a different video card and slightly better parts (case, psu, RAM).

Top is a build I just put together on Newegg while the bottom one is a combo deal from Newegg minus the DVD drive. Why don't you like the GTX 460?? This will be a gaming computer.

I'd go for the second one.

But do you really need the 8gb RAM? What are you gonna do with your PC btw.

But how about throwing a little more mooolah for a better case (you won't regret it)? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-216-_-Product

And buy yourself a decent CPU cooler like this baby here. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...020&Tpk=NH-c14

This will easily take you to 4Ghz +

It is mainly going to be used for playing games mostly. I can't change the 2nd build because its a whole combo deal. Otherwise I would change the case
