I have been looking at some of the new tech coming out on engadgets website. I love some of the new stuff that companies are coming out with. Most notably is the new 3DS. I found it one of the best new mobile gaming products on the scene.

I have a few questions.
How many of you are going to buy it when it comes out?

Are any of you going to buy it, and be new to the system line?
Or are you upgrading from a DS or DSi?

I personally want to pick up the 3DS when it comes out because it offers so much and seems like a great full featured mobile gaming system.
The launch price is suppose to be $249.99 USD.

I'm buying 1 for my daughter as soon as I can. The few demo vids I've seen look awesome

I'll want to see for myself for the 3D actually looks first, but possibly.

Upgrading, but definitely not right when it comes out. $250 is too much to drop on a handheld.

I'm sorry but dropping $250 on a portable gaming system is way lame. For $50 more you can purchase a PS3 or xbox 360 get way better graphics and games not to mention you get a blu-ray player if you get the PS3...do not waste your money on the DS and get something you would truly love more...

Hey lets play games while in the car. ohhhhh waitttttt....

let me know how you manage to get your TV and whole gaming console in the car with you on short notice. Or better yet in your pocket.

We are talking about mobile gaming, not gaming in general, and if you want to go by launch prices. The PS3 was well over 600 dollars when it came out.

I am definitely going to buy it but I'm going to wait until around the Xmas holiday season this year...It will probably drop to $199 since that is the usual, consistent thing that happens with Nintendo consoles when they're released in March/April.
