I do not think painting the fans will hurt the performance as long as you are careful. Be patient.
I agree with this. I build models so if you have the right airbrushing tools and some patience you can paint anything. Most people wil just go outside with a can of spray paint and blast it and done so i normally advise against it.

GTs have a better balancing characteristic which helps too.

But I would say get the magma's they have better specs and are cheaper, plus you won't have to paint them.

Oh and by the way, you are now required to give us pictures of said build.
Pics or it didn't happen.
Patience. I'm working on getting a passive cooler on my HD6870 and sleeving my cables. I don't want to show it until all my mods are finished. I'm too lazy to provide constant updates and pics of all the intermediate steps.

Oh come on, just give us a few pictures.

Be careful, you might kill a few people if they find out there is modding going on and find no pictures.

Im sure you don't that hanging over you.

Haha, thx for replys guys. I think I will end up with the Noiseblockers for my 120MM needs, I need a 92MM Fan too so Ill try painting that, probably going to end up being the Gelid 92, and see how that turns out and take it from there.
