TUSL2 or TUSL2-C is your best bet for that chip.

Here's my cpu-z submission for that chip at hwbot: http://hwbot.org/community/submissio..._s_1985.81_mhz

You have to pin mod the cpu to get the board to feed it that voltage though.

You should make one of those into a keychain. Now that would be some serious bling, unlike my dead little s478 2.6 P4 Heck, even fitting the keys into your pocket might become a problem
P.S. PIIIs aren't a part of this club, as of yet

In other news, I'm looking at cheap PC cases ($50 tops)for this rig at the moment. CM Elite 430 looks nice. Was considering Thermaltake V4 earlier, but the newegg reviews made me reconsider.
Any other suggestions (sub-$50)?

EDIT: oops, looks like we're veering offtopic yet again. I recently realised that though this thread is supposed to be about CPUs, we're discussing the entire rigs that house them, basically making this into a "PGA478 & P4/D LGA775 owners' thread"
Is that a problem, harishgayatri?

Nope.

I like everybody's participation. If this is the way it has to be done, then so be it.

Enjoy.

I'd go the ABit ST6, Gigabyte GA-60XET even the Epox EP-3PTA, all i815EP chipsets also. I have the ST6 still and had the XET and back in the day and the ABit/Gigabyte boards had more robust overclocking features, notably the XET which had extra dividers for 180+FSB overclocks.

Great, thanks

In other news,
I WANT MY SALARY NAO!!! I found an awesome deal, a 4670 AGP for half the shop's price. Converted to USD, that would be... ~$60.
Currently trying to contact the seller to ask for the specifics and, if everything looks fine, whether he could refrain from selling the card until my pay comes.

EDIT: success. He agreed to wait a week for +5$. Fair enough. I'll try to somehow get the funds before then.

My Cusl2 does 205 at 1:1 before the PLL won't take it any farther. It's good to know about the extra divider though. I looked around for the ST6, but they were nowhere to be found. In all honesty though I can't see the extra divider doing a whole lot of good except for cpu's with low multipliers or ram that won't overclock very well.

It's definitely geared towards extreme OCing - I remember peltiers and the like being used to push those Tualatins. Even then, good OCing RAM was hard to find and now it's impossible. I've pushed my III-S chips and they can definitely move up the FSB but the RAM is the achilles.

Club 3D Radeon 4670 AGP 1GB GDDR3 750mHz core/800mHz memory. Bow to me, lowly peons!
Arguably, the best AGP card money can buy Oh, right, I think the HIS card had slightly higher clocks, but meh. It'd end up being massively bottlenecked by the CPU anyway + I can always overclock this fella
Some pics(sorry for the flash/quality, can't be bothered to fiddle with camera settings atm, obviously ):

Haha. Until you get a dedicated GPU for that rig of yours, you'll remain a lowly peon for life!
Man, I'm loving this card. Finally got the 10.4 agp hotfix drivers to work. The sythetic benches completely blow away my old 9600 PRO, but, in actual gaming, the bottleneck is apparent. Only tried Aion so far, so it might vary from game to game, but still. I can just feel it: the GPU wants to skyrocket those FPS numbers, but the CPU says "nowai, you're not going there without me >:]". What I also find peculiar is the voltage. I always thought it should be a constant that depends on the slot, at least with AGP cards (1.5V or 3.3V, for the extremely old ones)
BAM! - 1.2V
Now I gotta get a new mobo ASAP, since my whole rig is sitting on a single 14A 12V rail, and the 4-pin 15A second rail is pointlessly lying around
Damn you, old ASRock mobo. Damn you!

EDIT: Haha.
WEI
CPU: 4.2
RAM: 4.2
Graphics: 6.7
Gaming Graphics: 6.7
HDD: 5.3

I'm seriously tempted to get a low-end 775 mobo with Pentium D support right now... Must... Resist... The urge... s478/DDR/AGP is... the... real... deal...
