From Socket A and Lawn Furniture to a complete office build thread - Page 2

I like the rendering you have there.

I have a similar setup in my house.

This may not be feasible, but have you thought about putting the furniture against a wall? It works pretty well for my needs. It saves a lot of space that way. The shape of your layout just struck me as being quite similar to my computer room, but it was not against a wall. Umm ya, thats all I wanted to say haha.

Its cool you know a little about graphic design. I resort to Paint to get my ideas across. But my skillz conceal that fact... right?

That isn't too bad for paint. I use Google Sketchup which is a lot like the Valve Hammer Map Editor for the Source Engine. Have you checked out Paint.NET?

I'm currently modifying my build a bit since my wife is on-board

I've found a cheaper corner desk ($149) that is bigger as a single piece instead of paying $400 for a $199 plus 2x $99 return. Newegg sells it with free shipping. Called the Bush My Space corner desk and it's black.

I've been checking out the HAF X full case since it is "certified" to cool 4x GTX 480 SLI which would be the hottest setup ever.

Only a few days now to a week (can take 14 days from the 31st). Hopefully Newegg doesn't fluctuate prices too much because I'm $13 within budget. I could always drop the mouse pad

Tightening your budget would be feasible too.
