Best Buy GTX 460 a story of buyer's remorse?

Hey all, new to the site here.

I just bought a Best Buy GTX460 to replace my BFG GTX260 in my desktop. It cost 269+ I was wondering if I should return it and buy some other card. I just got done reading a post dated in late 2010 about these best buy cards, I too, in the store saw Nvidia brand and assumed Nvidia made (my mistake). My question is, is the card worth keeping (maybe someone owns one that could share insight) , or should I try to return it while I still can? If I should return it could someone please suggest a good reliable card to buy in its place.

PS My motivation to buy from BB was that I've had some bad luck with buying cards online specifically an EVGA 8800GTS some years back, recieved 2 DOA cards in total, and RMA'ing was a nightmare, ended up getting my refund and stopped looking at the time. Also had a 30$ best buy gift card that was given to me.

ANy help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Honestly, I'd return it and get one from Newegg. Many are less than half what you just paid, such as: this.

I would take it back yes.. That is too much for that card.
The GTX 560 is about to drop, and it is ~ $250-60 ... Do you have a Microcenter near??
If not Order from Newegg

Have to agree with the others. Return it. If you are afraid of purchasing online, hopefully you have a Microcenter nearby? Frys? Something The ultimate lowest price would be online, and newegg.com would be a pretty cheap choice that is very friendly to deal with should you ever have an issue.

What's wrong with a Nvidia branded card? It has a 3 year warranty, which is better than the majority of companies already.

yeah ok, it's ridiculously expensive. that's pretty much the only thing wrong with it.

Thanks for the help all, I am going to return it tomorrow. I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something like "hey wait man, that card is sick" or something to that effect. Now gotta start comparing cards!
