I was kinda thinking the same.. hence why I replied with the comparison videos of the AP15 (on rad) and the SS-AP121 (on rad).

Based on MartinM's testing I very seriously doubt the AP121s will do well. He is probably wasting his time changing the fans TBH but I would like to see a test as well just for kicks and giggles.

My thoughts exactly. I thought the OP bought these to test, and/or replace the TY140's, but in the end, he is using them as case fans. And good to great case fans they are, depending on how your case is set up.

Silverstone 120mm Air Penetrator Fan AP121 Thinking about changing all my fans to these.

Also, I reckon the way they move air would be great for pushing thru a heatsink

UPDATE: Just ordered 2 more. If I don't use them on the heatsink, there's room on the side for both. That'll give me 4x 120mm side intakes!
I never bought them to replace the TY-140s. I bought them to replace my side panel fan. If changing the heatsink fans was a simple task then yeah, I'd do it and see how they go but it isn't simple (I have big hands and can't get in to secure the clips and end up cutting myself on the fins. Not fun) For now 30c full load will do me.

I understand it can be a little challenging to change fans.

I guess a few of us read what you wrote a little differently. Allow me to explain.

I guess, I for one, thought you were going to replace all your fans with the SS's. Per your direct quote above. Not just the 200mm fans. I guess there was a little misunderstanding.

Key words..."if" and "very tempted" Certainly not a concrete statement.

Then you ordered a few SS's, and I guess I thought you'd be testing them on the SA as well. Oh well. Doesn't matter. Guess there's a reason these aren't popular HS fans.

Good case fans they are, though. (or at least the 140mm fans are)
