Just cause 2, bottleneck? x16 AA fps = no AA fps

Thread Starter
Hello everyone,

I just got my new system (in signature). I was running the Just Cause 2 benchmark yesterday with all settings at max, and I realized that having no AA and having AA x16 made no difference in the fps, was always getting 30fps.

Is it possible that I have a bottleneck in my system?

Thanks

Do you have vsync on? If so turn it off.

I have been reading on vsync, I get it know.
I will turn it off and try again.

Thanks for your quick reply!

Edit: sorry about the silly topic mods, I am new to this whole gaming world and I had no idea the answer would be this simple, feel free to close this thread

V-Sync is good, it stops screen tearing.

v-sync won't lower it to 30fps.....

it will lower it to 60fps.....

Try updating your chipset drivers....

also what version of the Nvidia drivers are you running?
