Depends on how you sort your list...profits, revenues, market cap, etc. I tend to go my market cap, and Apple's market cap is $301B. Google's market cap is $196B. 301 > 196.
Not only is Apple the largest tech company by that measure, Apple is (I believe) the second largest company in the world
, behind only Exxon Mobile ($398B). And if their value keeps rising, they will overtake Exxon in the not too distant future. I read that somewhere recently, anyway.

. At the end of Q4 2010, the top three were Exxon - PetroChina - Apple. Since then, as of today (Jan. 26, 2011), PetroChina has pulled back significantly to only $249B. Unless some other company has jumped into the mix, that definitely puts Apple at #2 behind Exxon.
