I wanna build new dedicated Folding machine.
I wanna know which is best: i7 (-bigadv), AMD X6(-bigadv) or 3*GTS450(GPU3) ??
I care about PPD/$, I don't care much about PPD/W
Please recommend which component to use with this build.

Thanks in advance

Pow, you've got a dedicated F@H rig that uses very few watts. I just set my 2600K folding rig up yesterday and I've got it at 4.8GHz stable on a TRUE with temps below 60C hitting 42K PPD!

You need one. IMO its a much better alternative to having multiple GPU's. More heat and more power.

If you don't mind me asking how much was that rig?
