Final sandybridge build help

Thread Starter
Hello,

So well i decided to build myself a new system. I want you to give me some adivce or tell me what should i maybe change. This PC will be mostly used for gaming, i want to run CSS with a lot of fps (i play it on low resolution). And i want to overclock it afterwards aswell, so would be nice if you could tell me how far could i go with this setup.

Mainboard S-1155 ASUS P8P67 Pro, ATX
Prozessor INTEL Core i5 - 2500K, 3,30GHz, LGA1155, Quad-Core, Boxed
PSU ATX 650 Watt, CORSAIR 650TX, 80Plus
GFX CARD ATI HD4850 512mb&256bit - keeping it from old pc for now, till i can buy a new one
DDR3-RAM KIT 4 GB, 1600 MHz, CL9, CORSAIR XMS3
CASE Midi THERMALTAKE M9
DVD-+R/-+RW SATA LG GH-22NS50, bulk,
HDD SATA II Samsung SpinPoint F4, 320 GB, 16MB Cache - from old PC

As in for CPU Cooler, the shop i'm going to buy it from has only 1 cooler for the S-1155 and it's this one: http://www.ditech.at/artikel/CLEKL15...oll_aktiv.html
Don't rly know if i should order a different one or pick this one

So i wan't ur advice about this Setup, i'm not sure about the PSU & RAM(maybe i should get 6GB instead as the price difference is not that big) and the CASE, would it all fit normally in?

Oh and i'm planning maybe on buying GTX 470, so i want the PSU to be good enough for the card.

Thanks

For a good cheap cooler, get a CM Hyper 212+. Don't look for 1155 coolers, look for 1156 coolers-- the sockets have the same mounting brackets.

You don't need 6GB for what you want to do. 4GB is plenty, and you want to be in a dual-channel configuration with the 1155 socket chips anyway.

650W is plenty for a 470. Though I would consider the 570 instead if I were you .

i would change from TX to something better, there are better 650watt PSUs in that price range, the XFX XXX650 watt is one of them, its seasonic build.

Hi.

The 650TX is an enthusiast PSU. It's of very high quality.

It's also made by Seasonic as well. Just sayin'.
