Lanboy Air Case (power supply)

I want to make sure PSU unit works. Have not bought a mobo yet, but is there a way to start up the comp with just the PSU and in the case?

If you have a PSU tester, sure, if not then find someone elses computer that will let you connect up your PSU Otherwise, you can short out the green pin with the black pin and test if it turns on (take a paper clip, or piece of wire, insert it into the green female pin, and then the other side into a the black female pin, usually pins 3 and 4, and then turn on the PSU).

There is a way but if you fry the unit its your risk..

Use a paper clip or an old wire that you have laying around and on the 20+4 or 24 pin ATX connector find the green wire and then put the spare wire in there and then into a black wire on that connector and then it should power on.

Get a paper clip, unwind it so you have a long peice of metal, stick on end in a green wires hole, and another in the black.



Like that.

I would just wait to buy a motherboard, it's a high chance that it works.
