Finally my pc upgrade/update schedule has arrived. Its been 3 1/2 years since my last build. This time my upgrade schedule falls inline with new product launches. Heres what i got. Order placed 10 minutes ago.

PSU:
Coolmax CUG 700B 700W. I chose this particular PSU because the last Coolmax i got the CUG-600B is still kicking 3 1/2 years later with no signs of failure(knock of wood).

Motherboard:
Biostar TP67XE. This choice was tricky, I have always been an Abit fan boy but unfortunately they went bye bye (for picture frames no less). I chose this motherboard because of the layout and its looks. I think it looks great, From the reviews i have real it is definitely a high-end motherboard. It has everything I need in a motherboard and has the sexy minimalistic design.

Case:
LIAN LI Lancool PC-K58W. I saw a friend with this case and after inspecting it I decided i had to get one, It's great for my needs and looks like it can do some good cable management. This will be my girst LianLi case

Memory:
G. Skill Snipper 8Gb(2x4gb) DDR3 1600, 1.5v. The reviews on this were positive and the price was great. G. Skill has never let me down on quality.

GPU:
EVGA Reference GTX 570. I was debating on whether or not to get the 560 but I decided that since I follow a strict 3 - 4 year upgrade cycle with no intermediate upgrades i would just get the better card.

HDD:
Corsair Nova 64GB SSD. I wanted to see what SSD was all about so I found this one, Good reviews and the price was somewhat fair.
Also gonna throw in a 7200 RPM 500GB storage drive. I store most of my stuff on hotfile anyway.

CPU:
Core I5 2500k. I think anything else would have limited me. Sandy seems to be a pain to OC well without unlocked multipliers. I hope i can get 4.4GHz+.

Cooler:
Thermaltake FRIO. Thermaltake has been keeping my cpu's cool for at least 1- years, No reason to stop now. This is way bigger than my Big Typhoon.

Optical:
HP DVD/DL burner. Just the cheapest one on the list. I dont use them much anyway. I have burned maybe 50 disc in the past 3 years. I do most my storage like i said before on hotfile, Rapidshare before that. Nothing like having all my media everywhere i have internet access.

The main reason for this upgrade is to speed up encoding times with x264. I hope to bring the encoding time down at least 20 percent over my c2d @ 3.2GHz. Also my old system is really starting to get sluggish when I use Eclipse and Visual Studio 2010. Also my current system is depressingly slow when encoding hd video. Also with Crysis 2 about to be released and my current system barely getting 30FPS with eye candy on at 720p it was time for an upgrade. Hopefully 1080p will be playable at max settings. All i want is 40FPS minimum,(pipe dream anyone?)

Let me know what you think. Did i make a huge mistake?

For your information.

I don't even consider AMD products.

Pics to come.

Quick Thoughts.
Choose a better PSU, if memory serves thats not a good one. Antec TPN or a Corsair HX is a good place to start.
If you are going with a Lian Li spend the extra money and get the K60B. It comes with 2 more fans and is slightly better quality in a few areas.
Everything else looks good. Biostar has consistently impressed me with their quality and support. Definitely an underrated brand.

Also, being a fanboi never did anyone any good.

EDIT: You already bought the parts...

Yea. I really like coolmax psu's. Never once have I had an issue with them. As for the case, not getting the fans isn't to bad, I have a bunch of new fans that I haven't gotten around to using. I think the build quality is pretty good on that case.
I know fan boism isn't great but it hasn't failed me yet, Unless you count the pentium 4 series, i like to forget about that...

Thanks for the input. I hope this PSU is as good as the coolmax i'm using now. Dang now you put some doubt's in my head...

O well, what can i do...
