Lian Li PC-K58w or Cooler Master 690II Basic Black?

Thread Starter
So I am buyign a Rasa RS240 kit soon and want a new case for an internal radiator mount. I have narrowed my choices down to two cases:

Cooler Master 690 II Basic Black

or

Lian Li Lancool PC-K58w

The Lancool seems more solidly built from the reviews I've read, while the Cooler Master is more customizable (in that it has ready options for top or bottom internally mounted 120x240mm radiator). The Lian Li has room for a 140x280mm radiator in the top but is not designed to accommodate the 240 radiator I am buying (though I bet I could make it fit with some effort).

I am currently leaning towards the Cooler Master but wanted some feedback. With the 690II I could mount the RS240 on the top and add another 120mm radiator at the rear exhaust.

Input?

The Lancool has better tool free mounts, and especially better mechanism for the PCI cards. With the CM 690 II, all the tool free are thumbscrews, and some of the ODD tool free are missing compared to the Advanced version I have. The build quality is exactly the same as Lancool is made from Steel and ABS, while the CM 690 II Basic is the same material.

But as you intend to watercool, the CM 690 II will come out on top. As you noted the top is preset to support an internal 240mm radiator, and you might be able to mount the other rad on the back exhaust. For the front bottom HDD area, you can also have a 240mm radiator. The CM 690 II doesn't come in a color box though.
