Help overclocking an Phenom II X6 1090T

Really new to overclocking AMD chips, just looking for basic settings, just to get me started. Really want to get to 4.5, but if anyone has any settings just for 4 or something along those lines, that would be great. I tried messing with the settings yesterday for a few hours and got no where.

This is my build, if anyone has any basic settings I can start at, that would be great!

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition
CORSAIR Vengeance 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600
DIAMOND 6950 Radeon 2GB 256-bit GDDR5
COOLER MASTER Silent Pro Gold Series RS800-80GAD3-US 800W

bump your cpu voltage to 1.45 and start rasing your multiplier. Thats where you start. 4.4 is pretty unheard of with that chip.

Yes and no. For now yes. Keep it at 200 and raise the multiplier. Rasing the fsb will give you an oc but you have to change other things too as where if you bump the multi you can usually get away with just bumping the voltage

It is close to impossible to hit 4.4 with that chip but most likely somewhere around 1.55-1.6 V which will fry your cpu quickly unless you have a full blown custom water cooling loop
