If it's a SC version. What fan speed setting do you have it on and how long did you test it to make sure it's stable? Cuz i wanna pull the trigger on overclocking my SuperClocked EVGA GTX 460 786MB card so bad. I want stable clocks to game everything.

Did you ever try and bump the cpu/nb voltage to get it to over 3.6? C2 chips do not oc as good as C3, but I would think it would hit 3.8-4.0 under 1.5v.

Edit: Just saw you have a 7xx chipset. Believe it or not, an actual NB bump may get you higher too. I do not understand why, but my 785G is 1.1v on auto and I cannot get over 2.5GHz on my 9600BE unless I bump the actual NB to 1.2v. It really makes no sense because the IMC is in the cpu, but it is the only way I got over 2.5GHz.
Amd is a dance to say the least! I have been back fooling with mine because of BD delay AGAIN! I was all set money and everything for it on 9/19 but now it is going to be out 10/12 but will be cheaper than expected which was good news over the bad (delay) as far as the cpu/nb volts and the cpu volts they are interconnected is the easiest way to put it!

There are many links to how to OC a AMD phenom and others as well and it is no where the same as intel so if you learned on intel forget everything you know and start over. I myself find my max volts/temps and then play with what I have learned on this chip to be about what it likes I have some new numbers for my sig but wont put them there intil I am sure its stable! I don't put suicide numbers there those are 24/7 specs, I am like most of you guys don't want to waste money by blowing up anything but have been down enough roads to know that the volts is really not a big deal as long as temps are in check.

I have my cpu/nb running 2900mhz right now seems good/stable and my memory/ram @ 1880mhz but had some errors at lower timings so uped them to 9-9-9-20-1@1.65v which they can take allot of volts btw (ram) the specs on ddr3 was 1.85 I think years ago and some guys still push them that hard but I find they are good up till 1.70 myself but not much more helps

@ paragraphs!!

Which G.Skill sticks do you have? Ever tried 1.65v 1600-1700 and 6-8-6-20-24-1t? That performs better.

I have not tired to up the Vcore as I don't want to do 1.5. Already hot right now. I don't want any hotter, and 3.6 is fine for me.

As for the NB I tired 2.8 at 1.3 but it was not stable. And I don't believe 2.6 was either. I'll try again though.

OK well this is way off topic but I had to share this! lol This was in the news and is a direct quote from the article

"Comcast Tech Arrested for In-Home Masturbation
Xfinity Customer Service Still Needs a Little Work
by Karl Bode Monday 19-Sep-2011 tags: business · cable · trouble · consumers

While we personally know many highly skilled and fantastic employees who work directly for Comcast, the quality of Comcast's subcontracted installers has always been a bone of contention, given their occasional tendency toward winding up in the news for falling asleep, murder, digging in the wrong yard, blowing up laptops, dishwashers or homes, torturing kittens, robbery or running into children with vans. The latest black eye for Comcast is courtesy of 31-year-old Shane Wheatley, who is being accused of grinning and masturbating in front of a 24-year-old Port Charlotte, Florida customer."
