Did you ever try and bump the cpu/nb voltage to get it to over 3.6? C2 chips do not oc as good as C3, but I would think it would hit 3.8-4.0 under 1.5v.
Edit: Just saw you have a 7xx chipset. Believe it or not, an actual NB bump may get you higher too. I do not understand why, but my 785G is 1.1v on auto and I cannot get over 2.5GHz on my 9600BE unless I bump the actual NB to 1.2v. It really makes no sense because the IMC is in the cpu, but it is the only way I got over 2.5GHz.
Amd is a dance to say the least! I have been back fooling with mine because of BD delay AGAIN! I was all set money and everything for it on 9/19 but now it is going to be out 10/12 but will be cheaper than expected which was good news over the bad (delay) as far as the cpu/nb volts and the cpu volts they are interconnected is the easiest way to put it!
There are many links to how to OC a AMD phenom and others as well and it is no where the same as intel so if you learned on intel forget everything you know and start over. I myself find my max volts/temps and then play with what I have learned on this chip to be about what it likes I have some new numbers for my sig but wont put them there intil I am sure its stable! I don't put suicide numbers there those are 24/7 specs, I am like most of you guys don't want to waste money by blowing up anything but have been down enough roads to know that the volts is really not a big deal as long as temps are in check.
I have my cpu/nb running 2900mhz right now seems good/stable and my memory/ram @ 1880mhz but had some errors at lower timings so uped them to email@example.com which they can take allot of volts btw (ram) the specs on ddr3 was 1.85 I think years ago and some guys still push them that hard but I find they are good up till 1.70 myself but not much more helpsEdited by Bradford1040 - 9/21/11 at 10:42pm
