Well, I asked if this could be inserted in the first post, but no reply yet, and I can only change the Google docs, not the first post....so here are the current Single card Heaven results:

I only recently created this google doc because I could not update single card scores in the OP, as I am not the OP, and can only update the Google docs. I tried to go through the entire thread and find all submissions but may have missed some. I am just a volunteer and nobody pays me to do this.

Can you link me to the post where you made your submission? On second thought, I hate to miss anyone so I'll search your posts.

EDIT: I can't find any post where you have made a valid submission. These are the only 460 club posts I can find.

Okay, so I found a copy of Ungine Heaven 2.1 and ran a couple of tests, still very happy with the scores, they were actually better! However, I also found out something. I had my Global settings in my nVidia Control Panel modified so I didn't have to turn on or off certain things every time I installed a game. If your running a single card on a single display, there called Multi-display/mixed GPU acceleration, and alseo Power management mode. Those I always set to single display and prefer max performance. But, I went as far as turning quality all the way up on my settings. The 1st Bench I did with my Global settings maxed, the 2nd back to default except those 2 I mentioned. So it seems your global setting can effect the results of your benchmark. Still think these scores are pretty big for a completely stock GPU, maybe the norm for a GTX 460, not sure. Anyone Else with a Gigabyte 1GB SE wanna confirm that?

dude as far as you settings the single display mode is always the better choice even when running two monitors unless you are syncing them and using both in game, plus the power management I would 110% suggest turning that to **adaptive** not performance! there is no benefit none to switching it to full power 100% of the time unless you have so much going on even at desktop level that you use that card/cards full power surfing the net

EDIT: plus if you are looking for OC'ing help you are in the right thread plus ALANCSALT is about the nicest guy on OCN so if he tells you something you can pretty much bank on it, there are some very seasoned 460's owners in here and have pushed these cards very hard and know there limits(myself included). I also wanted you to know why 2.1 heaven was chosen over 2.5 and that 2.1 is consistent with its scoring and 2.5 is all over the place which for OC'ing when you have a program that will give you the same score when you run it with nothing changed is the best benchmark for finding out if what you did to your OC worked

TBH, until I got this card, was used to underpowered graphics (8400GS 512MB, 220GT 1GB) runnig full Aero and the works, so I just made it a habit of turning full performance on. Good to know that this is a bad idea, as I wasn't for sure. It may be a great idea for application level, but not Global, right? Sorry if I make mistakes on these things, this is my first non-entry lvl Card, so I've been playing around with things that I probably shouldn't.

BTW, anyone use the Stereoscopic 3D in here? The only camera I have to take pictures with of my Video card/Box with my name on it, (for complete Validation) is my 3DS, which takes 3D pictures in nVidia StereoScopic 3D. Also, I enjoy taking 3D pictures, it's Amazing! The only down side is it only takes them in 640x480, which is 3DS native resolution.

I think you are already in! I don't know 100% if alan updated you yet haven't looked but I would not suggest ever posting pictures in 3d for validation just for showing off maybe but not for vali's

IDk, thought it would be a fun twist on things. Actually use the 3D on the video card for something fun. It's a real shame my TV is a 2010 model, not the 2011 Sharp Aquos that is StereoScopic able. But crisp, sharp video, and nice to have a 40" 1080P Monitor Sadly, if things don't get better, I may have to sell it
