Sorry, I couldn't ever figure out EVGA Precision, so I went the MSI Afterburner route.

it's actually pretty easy to bump up the voltage in Precision, but I can't for the life of me remember how to do it. I'm posting this to make a reminder to myself, I'll take a couple screenshots and update this post when I get home from work tonight. I'm 99% sure you can only do it in the latest version of Precision though. You might be able to do it in previous versions, but I never bothered with it because my cards are fine on stock voltage at like 880 or something...

Whats up guys. Sold my 580 and got a pair of 1gb 460's on the cheap. One is a hawk and the other is a ref evga card. Benched them at 850 at hit 8000 in 3dmark 11. Pretty happy with the performance of these babies. Should hold me off until kepler.

I always use ATI-tool, I'd link but am at work and on phone. But just download ATI-tool and it's got a stability test built in to it, if it passes that without artifacting I think you're good to go.

Anyone having issues with the 285.62 Drivers, or is it just me? had to drop it back down to stock to keep from having my drivers fail on me. Funny thing is, it did this in normal idle time, not while playing games. It's failing at idle temps? wierd?

The drivers failing is not related to your OC or heat. The 28X drivers just tend to be unstable on certain machines. I was running with the newer ones, but I downgraded to 266.58 and haven't had any problems since. I'm hoping that 290 will be more stable and I can upgrade.
