I've added you to the owners list, but you'll have to wait until GreenNeon comes along to be added to the Heaven list thumb.gif

Just thought I would share that I have managed to stabilize clocks of 900/1800/4600. Yes, 4600 MHz mem clocks. I accidentally left Kombuster running over night, and this morning, 9.5 hours later, it's was still running. Temps maxed out at 64 C. Used to run 1.087V at 900/1800/4400, but had to bump it up to 1.1V to get the new clocks stable. I could get the core/shaders up to 950/1900 (maybe 975/1950), but I have to crank the voltage to 1.2V, and the temps hit 80 C then. The extra 50 MHz was not worth it IMO. No matter what voltage I throw at it, anything over 975 MHz core instantly artifacts. I can post some GPU-Z/Kombuster/Afterburner shots if anyone wants them. I'm not trying to join the club, just sharing my overclock. MIN frames in Kombuster at stock are about 290 FPS, after overclock I am getting about 330 FPS.

Edit - Just out of curiosity, has any one been running a card, for an extended period of time, with either 80+ C temps, or 1.2+V, or both? Stock or aftermarket cooling? I know many cards can deal with those temps, but I have heard the VRM (or whatever they are called) area gets much warmer than the core temps, topping 100 C. I remember reading about a few GTX 460's running 1.2V dying or something, but I can't exactly remember.

Also, just noticed another user microman has also reached 4600MHz memory clocks, though was able to reach a 980 MHz core. Very nice. Though I do remember reading about one of our members getting 1000MHz on stock cooling I believe. Just can't remember who, it was right when the cards where first released I think.

is 61C high for a 460 at load?

i want to run my card at 40% fanspeed all the time for the noise, but that's the max temp it hits. don't want to damage the card (it's all at stock, no OCing etc)

No it's not. I run my card @ 40%, 24/7. The extra noise from 80% only knocks off about ~5c on load, depending on my ambient.
