DX11

Tesselation moderate
Anisotropy 16
Anti-aliasing 4x

1920x1080

I realised just now that you can run it at resolutions not supported by your monitor. 1920x1080 is a decent resolution, fairly common too. And higher resolutions put more stress on the GPU and less on the CPU iirc.

Enter those settings into the pop-up box at the start, then leave everything else at default inside the benchmark. biggrin.gif

But that's just my recommendation - what do you guys think?

EDIT: Awesome banner Rowey, pretty sure that at lower resolutions the CPU gets more usage, instead of the GPU. And even if you've got a 1024x768 monitor, you can still run a 1920x1080 benchmark, you just won't be seeing all the pixels on the screen. But the GPU will still be rendering them.

EDIT 2: OK, looks like that doesn't work in full screen. You can still run a higher res than your monitor's in a window, though. How about we go for something like:

DX11
3D Disabled
Shaders high
Tesselation extreme
Anisotropy 16
Anti-aliasing 8x
Windowed
1280x720
THIS^ ill speak to neon about putting it on first page. I might go run mine now see what i can do tongue.gif

I'm liking the OP biggrin.gif

Maybe iceblade can make it an Official thread (wink, wink) tongue.gif

What would you say for the Heaven benchmark settings?

You have the right idea about the heaven settings... Maybe turn the tesselation one notch down from extreme. Past experience is that the extreme setting is just ridiculous. 1280-720... that was close to what I was thinking. What about 1280x1024?
Official thread, mhhhmmm.

HB this?

DX11
3D Disabled
Shaders high
tesselation high
anistropic x16
aa x4
fullscreen
1280x1024

???

Yeah, you're probably right. Extreme tessellation is a bit... extreme xD

For some reason (no reason, pretty much) I thought a 16:9 resolution would be a better option. 1280x1024 is more common than 1280x720 though, I guess.

Up to you really.

I love this card man. I don't like to up voltage a card cuz I'm paranoid about wearing it out fast, but I set my clocks to match the EVGA FTW factory oc card and got to 850mhz/2000mhz, no problem!

Well I think normal tes and 1280x1024 would be good, rest can be the settings you suggested? agreed?

Also just found a right old annoying problem.
Running my card 920 core and 2050 mem and 1.087v runs stable in occt. But then when I run Heaven, the screen freezes after a few minutes and sound repeats, grrrrr.

Guess my card isnt stable.

EDIT:

Just lowered to 900 core and 2000 mem and it's running fine in heaven. I think it may be my memory, it seems to artifact past 2000 frown.gif
