What is the ASUS NGTX 460 memory rated at on the 1GB GDDR5 version? is it 1000mhz?
Well i ran it at 920Mhz 2010Mem clock

its a really bad score tbh, i think the OC was very unstable as the bench itself was very glitchy it showed weird sunglare's like bright pink and green sometimes just for split seconds at random times. I seriously need to sort my OC out ive got it running at stock now dont want to damage nothing. But anyway here my unstable score:

Just disovered that it's my memory thats holding me back It wont go past 1000mhz (4ghz effective) my core will do 930mhz though. Guess my memory chips dont wanna play fair, lawl.

count me in!!!

Username: Kyle7412
GPU Clock/Memory Clock: 810/1950 (In sli of course)
Card Brand name: EVGA

My vantage run was with an extreme borderline artifacting OC at 910 mhz. I mean I was getting the colored artifacts at the top of screen at 915, but not at 910.

Also just found a right old annoying problem.
Running my card 920 core and 2050 mem and 1.087v runs stable in occt. But then when I run Heaven, the screen freezes after a few minutes and sound repeats, grrrrr.

Guess my card isnt stable.

EDIT:

Just lowered to 900 core and 2000 mem and it's running fine in heaven. I think it may be my memory, it seems to artifact past 2000
Alright, sounds good.

I just want to say that I got the memory stable at 4.6GHz DDR, because that would be a 1GHz DDR overclock. Although it would actually only be a 250MHz overclock, lol.

Can't get it stable at anything more than 900 core, though. Even with the memory at stock.

Nope, stock. Unless you mean the TOP edition?

Just got 2200MHz memory stable at 1 volt, with 850 core. Looking like this will be my 24/7 overclock, with 910 or whatever I can get reserved for benchies.

Would you recommend having the memory that high for my "safe" overclock though?

Well you seem to have more forgiving memory than me.
Anyway I just did a few loops of heaven at 920/2000 and it seems that this is my max stable with this card. 930 makes my display driver reset and 2050 on the memory creates artifacts.
920/2000 still aint bad though, guess I was hoping I had one of those mega overclocking gtx 460s.

Yeah, it's still very decent. Who doesn't hope for a mega overclocker though?

I think my max core is going to be 910MHz on this. Not sure if that will run alongside 1125MHz memory though.

ellisbodds mate, could you run 1280x1024, 4xaa and 16xaf, normal tes and high shader and tell me what score you get at your max stable?

I'll do it now. Just almost got 910/2200 stable at 1087mV. Got errors in OCCT after about 6 minutes of stress testing. Sadface.

2250 is not stable at 1087mV either. But that was running at 900 core, maybe I can try 2250 at stock core/shader just to say that I hit 4.5GHz effective

So I'll run those settings at 900/2200.
