*Official* Geforce GTX 460 Fan Club

Well after much thought I decided I would start this owners club.
The GTX 460 in my eyes is really a legendary card that I think deserves it's own personal club.
Although the 560 has come and gone, I do think this card needs some recognition, I myself believe it's a milestone in GPU development at the mass consumer level.
I have never owned a card that really has made me smile so much, it really is a little bundle of joy that powered through everything I threw at it.

This club is for anyone who owns a GTX 460 and would like to join.
Free discussion on anything GTX 460 related is welcome.

My message: READ? (Click to show)
Due to the overwhelming success of this thread (Nearly 200k views) I have been unable to update the main page due to my time being consumed via work and studies. However this thread is still very much alive and going and I would encourage anyone who still has (Or just bought) a GTX460 to continue using this thread to its full advantage.

To be included, please fill out the required information.
  • Username
  • GPU Clock/Memory Clock
  • Card Brand name
  • GPU-Z Validation or screenshot
  • Photo of your card with your OCN Username in the image or If you do not have immediate access to a camera then a screenshot with your username in wordpad/notepad will do.
  • 3DMark score with validation link if you wish to be added to the Unordered list.
Heaven benchmark score with results screenshot if you wish to be entered onto the leaderboard.

Why do I have to take an image with my username in it?
The reason I ask for this is so that I have viewable proof that you own a GTX 460 and also because it controls the inflow of club requests.

You will not be added to the list unless all requirements are met.
Please contact me if you have any questions or queries regarding this thread.

While I may end up getting a 460, I find it amusing that this thread was created the same day the 560's were released

Hahaha nice... Abit too late i guess, but its a way for us 460 owners to brag about our purchase over any other card *560*.
Ill edit my post later if i have time.
MoBeeJ
Msi gtx 460 HAWK tallons attack @ 811/1622/3900. Max oc 970/1930/4200.
Edit: There you go guys .
Thats my baby... As far as temps go idle 27 load 56.
As for OCed temps i put a fan to blow on the vrm and back of the card (pcb). Load in furmark/occt was 68. I will modify the 460 later, when i dunno, will put on some custom made ram sinks and vrm sinks too.

WoW 970 core? What kind of temps were you getting with that?

Also, count me in! Just cause the 560 is the new kid on the block doesn't make my Hawks any less sexy.

I would join this club, but I'm too lazy. I love my GTX 460 though!

Wow, nice temps for an OC that high. Mine idle ~25 when single, 30 with both in the case, but they're not OC'd (yet).

Oh I almost forgot, my proof:
